Choosing a cartridge for a Polaroid camera seems like a very simple task at first (just pick the one you like the most ?). However, our customers often face the issue of the purchased cartridge not fitting.
Today, we’ll tell you how to correctly select a cartridge for your camera?
600 Series Cartridges

These are the most universal cartridges compatible with the widest range of Polaroid cameras. They are ideal for your vintage cameras, including those whose names begin with "6," as well as the Impulse, One, and Spirit models. In addition to vintage cameras, these cartridges are also suitable for the newest i-Type cameras (Now, Now+, I-2, One Step 2, One Step+), as well as the Polaroid Lab.
i-Type Cartridges

The main difference between these cartridges and the 600 series cartridges is that they do not have a built-in battery, which is necessary to power vintage cameras. As a result, these cartridges are only suitable for the latest i-Type cameras (Now, Now+, I-2, One Step 2, One Step+), as well as the Polaroid Lab.
SX-70 Cartridges

Although these cartridges do not differ in size from the previous ones, they have a much higher light sensitivity (ISO 100). They are suitable exclusively for all complex Polaroid cameras (except for the 680 and 690 models), SX-70 box-type cameras (One Step, One Step Plus, Pronto!, The Button, TimeZero, as well as cameras with numbers 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000 in their names). In addition, the new i-2 camera can also use these cartridges.
Go Cartridges

The most modern cartridges, which are fundamentally different from the previous ones as the photo size is much smaller. These cartridges are only suitable for the Polaroid Go cameras. They are not compatible with any other cameras!
Lifehack
