How to Use Aperture Mode with Polaroid Now+?

Aperture Mode with Polaroid Now+

If you love creating photos with nice depth of field using your Polaroid camera, aperture mode will be your best friend!

Aperture mode helps you control the depth of field in your images. A lower aperture (e.g., f11) will give your photo a blurry background, while a higher aperture (e.g., f32) will keep more of the composition in focus. The camera will then calculate the shutter speed depending on the aperture you choose.

When you select aperture mode in the Polaroid app for your Now+, you can easily choose the desired f-stop value (from f11 to f64). Depending on where your camera is pointed, the light meter will also indicate the optimal distance from your subject.

Below the aperture value, you'll see another number – this is the shutter speed. You can adjust it based on the result you want to achieve. You can also tweak the composition value and turn off the flash.

Once everything is set up – you can shoot using the shutter button in the app or the physical button on your camera.

‼️Remember: A short shutter speed freezes motion (like during sports photography), while a long exposure keeps the shutter open longer – ideal for capturing light trails or motion blur (like waterfalls).

We hope this post was helpful and inspiring – now go out and take some amazing photos!
